Six Line Wrasse Eyes Popping Out!!!

One of the eyes of my six-line became popped out! ***? Never seen this before. He looks like one of those Goldfish. This is just happened today. I noticed that like a month ago she has a bump on her head right on the nose area. I tought she will mutate into a unicorn fish or something. I'm going to make a trap and capture, but I need some advise what shold I do once I got him in the QT.

No, not a mutation into a unicorn fish, it's was an infection that spread to the eye now.

The good news is you can add 1 tablespoon of epsom salt to the treatment tank to ease the swelling a little.

The bad news is the prognosis sucks, but I would start with some Maracyn.

Looks like a case of Popeye. Could have been caused by hitting himself on the rocks or from another fish. But there is an easy cure if you catch it in time. Put your 6-line in a QT, get some Maracyn II for marine fishes, follow the directions and should clear up in 5-7 days or so. Good luck.

thanks guys! i couldn't get him out yet. I got the trap in my tank couhgt other fish but the six line is still on the loose...hope I will be able to get him out today. the eye looks better already though.
