I just recently added a six line wrasse to my 12g nano. It was eating right off the bat and stayed out for the first 2 days, but now i havent seen it in 4 days. I have read some literature that states they form a mucus cocoon and can hole up for awhile. I have about 7 lbs of live rock in a well established system. Should i be worried? Only other fish are a pair of Ocelaris clowns (small).

Test your parameters and monitor. If dead, your levels will rise. Feed brine shrimp when the lights are on to see if it comes out to feed but don't overfeed.

When I had my six line in my 29G, he/she was hiding within the rock structures and made it hard to find at times.

Pretty similar thing happened to me, Mine was a Yellow Candy hogfish, and mine disappeared instantly after adding, but showed up the next morning.Give it a week.

A pair of clownfish and a sixline wrasse in a 12 gallon tank is asking for problems long term. They will hide, and definitely are expert jumpers.

Haaa! I found the sucker! I added some filtration in one of the slots in the back of my aquarium and the sump backed up causing the water level to rise and it got in the sump! Well i finally caught him/her and made sure it couldnt happen again! Thanks for all the help!

I have a buddy that has a snowflake eel, pair of percula clowns and a fairy wrasse and they have got along for 3 years now (gotta keep eel fed well)
