skimmer and calcium reactor

Running a 9010 skimmer and very happy with it.

Have seen that AquaC skimmers have a fitting for calcium rector output supposedly to help blow off C02 and avoid lowering tank pH as much.

Is there a way to do something similar with the 9010? Bad idea? Good idea?

I'd appreciate any thoughts.

Bad idea on ours because the pump is inside and blowing off the CO2 would cause some precipitation in the pump. It works on the Aqua C because the pump is not in contact with the effluent of the reactor.
