Skimmer and Sump

Currently I have a 75 gallon aquarium. I am running a sump with bio balls, with a sealife-systems skimmer. My water pump is a quiet one 2200, and I am running an overflow box. No drilling in the aquarium. I have heard that the skimmer is the heart of the system. I have hear that my sea-life is actually made by coralife and its their bottom line. So I am looking at upgrading, my problem is that I do not have alot of room under my aquarium.

The place where my sump is around 24 1/8" high, 27 1/2" Width, and depth is around 16". My current sump is 24 1/4" wide, 16" High, and 8" Depth. The right side of my sump which holds the protein skimmer and water pump is 11" wide, and a depth of 8". Any suggestions on a protein skimmer that would work. I found a good deal on a ASM G3 skimmer, but then I would have to change my sump, because I believe it is too big to go in the right side. I have looked at different sumps, but it is hard to find one to be able to hold the ASM G3 and fit into that spot in the stand.

Have you considered the AquaC line of skimmers? They have a pretty compact footprint, may be worth looking into. I'd probably recommend the EV180 on that size setup.
