skimmer bubles

Hi, I bought a used euro-reef skimmer (rs 135) and am having trouble getting the bubbles to go to the top. The skimmer is 9 inches deep in 11.5 inches of water. I've adjusted the air knob in various settings but with no success (been trying for 5 days). Any thoughts?

Sometimes these things do have a break in period. Patience... In the long run though that thing will work. Adjust it, leave it alone for a few days. Adjust it, leave it alone etc... Dial it in... GL.

Why is there a huge open valve coming off of your skimmer cup area ?...Or is that an optical illusion ?

thats an optical iilusion- not connected to skimmer
