I am building another skimmer for my upgrade tank, the skimmer is 10" diameter tube , 6" diameter neck, and 24" tall. It will be all clear acrylic, I think it's gonna look cool when it's done, here are some pictures in progess...thanks for looking.

Thanks every one, since the neck is 6"OD, I want a pump that pulls at least 2000 lph start with and then I can tweak it up to 3000 or more to accomodate the neck size...thinking about Bubble blaster or Laguna pump.

It is good pump, but I still want to keep it under a budget.

I got this on line a while back it was over $200 plus shipping for 30" in length.

Update: fitting the bayonet twist off neck and tried to cone my neck... but failed

With using tap water in Orange I think I will have something to skim lol.

The pump I will use will be the Laguna from Vertex, I was able to tweak it pulling 2280lph, that's more than enough for a 6" OD neck.
