Skimmer Decision!

I have the chance to pick up a used Reef Octopus NW200 or an ASM G-2. Which one would you guys recommend for a 90 gallon DT and 30 gallon sump? Both need a new pump, so what kind of replacement would your recommend?

Get the Reef Octopus NW200. Marine depot has it on sale for $223.99.
I think you be happier with a new one.

How much are you getting them for? The NW200 is the better of the two but depending on price it might not be worth it. Pumps can cost more then the skimmer body.

Also found a Sealife Systems Impact 200 for $100, is this a decent skimmer?

The sealife would use more energy. I would go with a pin wheel powered skimmer.

Final question, if I were to buy a skimmer new for under $300, would my best bet be the reef octopus extreme 160, or something else?

I like Bubble Magus but thats just me, Great Skimmer for the price.
