Skimmer for JBJ28LED

I want to buy the Tunze skimmer (model 9002 I think) for my JBJ28G LED. However I do not want to do any mods and I want to be able to open the cover without removing the skimmer cup. I dont mind buying a modified cup.

Can you point me in the right direction.

I cannot say for sure if you would need to mod it, the smallest model skimmer we offer is the 9002, I would Google Tunze 9002 JBJ 28 gal LED and you should find people who have used the skimmer in that tank and be able to find an answer.
