Cully is right... I did the same thing when picking a new skimmer and by the end my head was spinning. Just go for one!

I will say that the "Super Reef" line of Octos are a lot nicer than the Bubble Magus, namely the Bubble Blaster pump which is the heart of the skimmer. JMO

A large consideration for me is always the pumps wattage; a big part of my planning is trying to keep total electrical use as close to $65 per month as I can (which is only ~ 15,000W and is very hard to do). While 20W only adds ~$2 per month to my current bill any bit of savings needs to be given serious weight.

that is a great point - Bermuda is not very light on electricity - 5C uses a Mag 12
