Skimmer needed for 180 + Fuge +

Ok i bought a 180 AGA today... and im interested in a doc skimmer to handle my tanks volume + a large fuge.. what do you recommend?

What sort of corals and fish do you plan to keep?

mainly LPS but definently some softies and some easier SPS maybe a clam in the future.. i will have a shallow sand bed also... tank will probally be stocked WELL since the wife likes fish lol

The 9020 would definitely handle whatever you could throw at it. The 9010 would be a good choice if you don't get too crazy with fish, if you stuck to about 15 small to medium fish it should work.

You didnt mention the 9015, would that handle a loaded tank?

Not a big fan of the 9015, it will work but if it was me I would spend the extra for the 9020. The 9015 is just a big cup on a 9010. The 9010 + a 9020.14 actually skims better for the same cost from my experience. The bigger cup allows you to open the venturi further but the foam gets very dark and dry as it rises up the cup so I prefer the wetter foam of the 9010.
