Skimmer overflow question

My skimmer keeps overflowing. I was epoxying some frags to the rockwork and next thing I know the collection cup is overflowing. This has happenend before but usually adjusting the setting will keep it uner control. I completed opened the exit valve and it still overflows. Is it going crazy over the epoxy in the water. Any advice?

Also, cleaned the pumps, the water doesn't seem to be having any trouble exiting the skimmer, so it doesn't appear to have back pressure.

Thanks...figured, but this has never happened before. I used a different brand of epoxy tonight. Now I know to kill the skimmer next time I do this.

It's probably something else.. Better tear it all down and start over.

After this week, might not be a bad idea. I am trying to find a good controller that can monitor water leaks and shut the system down. I'll have some lighting and new controller for sale shortly.

might be able to use a profilux on the water issue

ask the main guy at GHL profilux

Yeah...I could control it all with a Aquatronic...do you know anything about them. They have water leak detectors that can shut down pumps is detected. Just don't know anything about the controllers track record.
