skimmer pump on 9002 not working

I have run my skimmer appx 11 months and today my pump stopped working ...I tried to pull apart to clean and other than the impeller guard/cover , nothing else comes apart. tried soaking in vinager and nothing. please advise if there is anything else I can try.

You cannot get the impeller out? It should come out, it sounds like it is stuck from fine sand or calcium.

I pulled impeller out soaked in vineger and all is working agian.
