The Eshopps does not even come close. The pump puts out maybe a third the performance the bb2000 does.
XP 2000 is closer to an ATB 840 than a eshopps.
Ok so you talk to this person and they say to get this skimmer then you talk to someone else and they say get that skimmer. I don't know what to do. I thought reading some thread would help, well it didn't just gave me more to choose from. I need two skimmers for 120 gal tanks with 50-55 gal sumps. One will be a reef tank and one will be a FO tank. I will not have may sps, Zoa's are my favorite but love anything that moves with a medium fish load. The FO tank will be medium to heavy load. Also look for the most bang for the buck. Octopus, coralife, asm, swc? Used is ok, and I would like to stay under
$300.00 Oh noise is a factor both tanks will be in the living room with the tv in between the two tanks. Foot print and clearance is not a problem. A;so looking for something that uses low watts. Thanks in advance for your help!
Alright if I take the g1x and put it on the 75, that leaves me with one ? I have a 29 gallon display tank with a 30 gallon sump. What would be a good skimmer to put on that?
JG the atb would be better, no rotational issues from pump
Hey Mojo,
You ever hear of an Orca skimmer? Not the reeflow, this one

I ended up with it when I bought the guy's starphire tank as a gimmie. Uses a Sicce pump.
yeap sure have. they made this one and another with the pump underneath called the black max. Nicely built. nice units
Just ordered the ATB 840 v2.0
I'm planning out my 120g mixed reef tank. Medium- slightly large bio load. Sps. Maybe a clam. Any suggestions? I see that octopus/swc are pretty popular.
well I would say a fair price for that recirc model depending on condition would be around $250 to 300.
