Mojo...
Thanks for your suggestion. If that is my best option for the $ then that's what I'll get.
I haven't partitioned the sump yet, I just want to optimize its space without having big equipment in it or anywhere else in the cabinet. I'm thinking about 10x12x24...
I have another question.... Skimmer in the "drain intake" side of the sump or on the "output" side oof the sump
Hi,
I just got a 60g cube with a 23"x10.5"x16" sump. I need to get a skimmer for it and was looking at the NAC6 and NAC7. Is the NAC7 sized too big for a 60g? I don't know what the bioload will be like yet, but i'm guessing medium to high.
Can't wait to get my first tank up and running.
Thanks!
The nac 7 and nac6 use the exact same pump.
The Nac 7 will work great.
Mojo,
From what I've read here, I've decided on the Bubble King brand. Can you suggest the right size for my 350G sps heavy load?
I was thinking either the Deluxe 250 or Supermarin 250 but I'm not sure what the difference is?
Thanks,
Jim
Super reef octo 3000ok, need opinions. Have 400 dollars peferably 500 max Need the best skimmer I can buy with this money for the following system.
155 Gallon Tank
50 Gallon(guestimate, homemade wood) sump, approx 1/2 Full
20 Gallon Fuge
20 Gallon Frag Tank
So a total Gallonage of roughly 200 Gallons and when moving, a 120 Gallon Sump will replace the 50 gallon SO I need something that will easily handle 400-450 Gallons.
would like to try to have it be as efficent as possible with both skimming and power useage.
I know, my budget is low, but if there is something close to the range, please post it, may be worth the wait for the extra dough if its a gotta have set up.
