The sea side cs2 is better choice over the cs1. The sns sk2 is great. And the sro 2000 is good too. The bubble blaster has a new pinwheel and is more quiet now. But not sure they all have it yet.
+1 Thinking about same skimmer for same tank. Read through last several pages of the thread last night and seems top picks are JNS SK2, Sea Side CS2 and SRO 2000. Which of these three would be the quietest.Mojo, how's the J&S SK2 working for you? I'm thinking of getting that one for my 100g with a 40-75g sump. Would that be the best choice or would the ATB 840 work better?
Mojo-
Im going to be upgrading from a 75g to 150g or possibly a 200g within the next month or so. It will be mainly SPS and quite a few fish. What skimmer would you recommend going with. Im looking to spend 350 to 600 tops on the skimmer. Will have the sump customize depending on your recommendation.
Thank you in advance,
Eddie
Are the pinwheels available on the aftermarket, I've got the SRO 3000 and I got spoiled by my last two skimmers that were silent...If this skimmer was silent, OMG

Mojo thank you Sir for your endless effort to help others. I'm back to hear your recommendations as you've helped me in the past. Can you please list your top 3 picks for a 200G sps tank heavily stocked?
Between JNS SK2/AquaMaxx Cone 2, SSA CS2 and Reef Octopus SRO XP2000, which is the quietest?
Your input much appreciated Mojo.
