skimmer question

Looks like that after I put my return pump in its section of the fuge, I only have about 5"x5" of extra room left.
I guess I either need a hang on back skimmer that can handle around 140 gallons give or take, or a in-sump skimmer with a small footprint.
Any suggestions?

Get an external skimmer and plumb into the sump.......if you have the space nearby. Coralife CS100 is a good safe bet. and cheap!

a tunze 9010 would skim your tank nicely and I beleive it has a 5x5 footprint, so you are in luck. It is an excellent skimmer.

On an external.where does the pump go?
Do you use an external or in sump pump?

Also on a HOT,where does the pump go? (I realize the tunze that kodyboy mentioned has the pump inside the skimmer.) But what about the others?
