Skimmer Recommendation??

I need to purchase a skimmer for my 90 gallon corner tank with 40 gallon sump. I looked a Deltec but they are a little to pricey for me. What are some others to look at.

SRO-1000. I have one on my 80g, and I could not be happier.

The SRO-2000 would be too much. It is about too much on my 110g.

Another for the SRO skimmers, I think either the 1000 or 2000 would work fine, it is right on that line. The skimmer is tied for my favorite in terms of performance for my other favorite which was the H&S a150-f2001.

Can't beat the 3 year warranty from a company that has great service either.

I can smell that from here....

You're pretty much fine so long as you don't break that "bacterial seal" bringing it to the sink. Once you dump it though....ugh, YICK! I have super sensitive smell and OCD tendencies, it sure isnt easy.....

Though spraying the sludge off the inside neck is almost amusing to me.....:crazy1:

Yep love that h&s design. I can't believe no one makes these designs any more. I love my das ex2. Its like the a150 but with 2 pumps.

I wish sro ext recirculating counter current skimmer.

It's such a simple design! No bubble plates, no cones. You could even see the turbulence in the neck, but it still puked up some of the nastiest skimmate.

I do miss that skimmer.....I think it was $529 when I bought it in 2004, so not too far off from the current prices either.

the bubble magus 180-CS has been a strong performer for me...i have a tight sump area, so space is premium. SRO output vs $$+ / top notch coralife customer service is a hard combo to beat.
