I cleaned this cup out yesterday. I do dose about 30 ml of vinegar on this 75 gal tank.

Bubble Magus Curve -

But a 5, not a 7

7 is too much skimmer w/ too big a neck

5 will produce better quality skimmate on your 90

I read a review linked on the Eco Tech Facebook page for what it's worth, he said it was so silent as to be inaudible. That seems to be one of your requirements. I am looking at the Vertex 130 and Aquamaxx CO-1 for my 60 gallon cube. The NYOS would also be in the running but at $399 it seems like diminishing returns.

CO-1 hands down. You won't be disappointed.

Bump...

Thanks for starting this thread! I need to upgrade my very old deltec as the pump is on it's last leg, and am evaluating the same skimmers. Quite is very important. Unfortunately, doesn't look like there is consensus yet. Although, nice to see everyone likes their skimmers.

Check out the prime/elite SRO.

I have my elite 200 sitting in 9" and I only had to adjust it twice.

I couldn't be happier with this skimmer. It pulls out half a collection cup every week of thick nasty sludge.

+1

I have the elite 200INT on my 180, also at 9". Beautiful skimmer (if that's possible). It pulls about 1/2 gallon of skimmate every week or so. I have the neck cleaner and skimmate container, which are both very nice.
