The sedra pump on my ASM G3 now 8 years old has for some reason dropped to almost no output and heats up. This unit was also a bit undersized I'd say for my system (180g display, 55g refuge, 100g sump) which has a high bioload.
So I'm looking for a new skimmer. Loved the ease of use and cleaning of the ASM. Also it was relative quiet.
Looking for: in sump, set it/forget it self leveling, quiet and efficient. Also I've heard there are now some self cleaning models out there??? Need some suggestions. Thanks!
