Skimmer. Sick of it

What pump do you have on it and what size tanks were you using it on? And if i may ask, what was the flow in that tank (like how many times turnover, and was it heavy flow or just a couple areas getting all the flow)?

The Remora has a MJ1200 on it and I have another MJ1200 in the tank as will as a Via aqua pump not sure which model but it probably does 250 gph. I have 20g tank with a damsel fish, bicolor blenny, firefish, and a rockcut goby and I feed heavily. The tank gets over 40x turnover an hour and the pumps are positioned so the tank gets pretty equal flow through out and so food stays in the water column. This most skimmate I get is maybe half cup or 4 oz. in week and thats a really good week. The Remora should be pulling way more crap out IMO. The skimmate that it does pull out is pathetic. I can't even get it to skim dry. Remoras suck or should be $50.

how far under is the pump? Just curious is all, cuz all i really did was throw mine on there, never really bothered with making sure everything was right on it and whatnot, but i get a cup every week at the least. And i dont have a heavy bioload either. It was just 3 fish in a 29
