skimmer?

ok i have a 29biocube and i just bought a bakpak skimmer,in the middle chamber i removed the bioballs and put lr in could i take the lr out and if the skimmer fits put it in,right now i have the skimmer inside the tank. i have a coralife mh hang on so im gonna have to switch the skimmer and light so what im asking is even if the skimmer wont fit do i need the lr in the middle chamber?

I personally don't keep liverock back there for any reason, if you have enough rock in the display then the pound of rubble back there isn't going to make a bit of a difference.

There is a skimmer called the Sapphire skimmer from www.nanotuners.com that fits the biocube.

i have the same tank i drilled the back and ran a 10 gallon sump with my skimmer in the sump
