a SRO is not a Octo? two different companies? so confusing think i need to see them in person

I've noticed that to, it seems several companies use the moniker "Octopus"

These are just referring to what type of octo..blah blah ..Coralvue makes reef octopus: reef octopus has , NW octos, recirculating, REEF extreme octos., AND now SUPER REEF OCTOS(SRO)..The regular octos has "their" basic type of pump. Extreme has Italian "sicce" pumps (fairly decent) and the super reef octos have the new bubble blaster...It is engineered top to bottom as a "solely skimmer" pump..custom volute impeller higher end parts and digital board built in... = low energy use high performance..This is what everyone is talking about, high end performance on a budget..Look up bubble king ,vertex,atb $$$$$.so you are getting bang for buck,.
Hope this clarifies a bit...Kinda like saying I have a Mustang but it could be a v6,Gt,Cobra,Saleen, Roush, Foose, or even Shelby..their number (octo) designates exactly what type it is and what pump it has.
CJ: ..Many people on here are just hobbyists but some : Work in this Industry, Work in LFS, Own LFS,or Commercially prop corals..REEF CENTRAL doesn't mind these things as long as you are respectful of their rules.. I just used my "add" so jay knows to be careful and that I may know this and it is relevant advice..Some of the STARS guys own fish business' , or do some prop out of their home but what they do in their town is their gig.. You don't really look "old" if that is any consolation

I did'nt take it as spiteful. I just thought he was pointing out no advertising. It's hard to tell peoples intentions somtimes in this format. I thought I was just being helpful and I got accused of advertising my business. I've never said a name or when or where or anything. Reign gets accused of being spiteful for using the word maintenance. We have such a small community of reefers here. Let's not let the tone of the post turn other reefers away. We need as many as we can get.

I just woke up for find my new gobby on the floor. Damn jumpers! He lived like a king for a day.

I run a lifereef vs2 on my 180 and love it. When I upgrade to my 300dd I will definitely get the 6 footer.

i just say im old when my 'not normal' tendacies show, kinda a laugh it off statement of me not 'getting it' or taking something simple 'way off base' so to speak so some days i feel old, others im five years old.
