Skimmers

How long do I need to run my skimmer? Should I shut it off when feeding my fish or when I add my supplements?

I run mine 24/7 i think some people turn them off to feed so they feed their animals and not skimmers but with that bak-pak I'd just leave it run.

yep i agree that bak-pak isnt going to skim enuff for it to matter now if you were to pu an berlin or octopus or something equal on a 14 i may shut it off to feed but thats about it.
how much skimmate do you get with that pak. If its wnuff then grats but ive runa few paks in my day and i always have to mod them with and air pump and a balsa stone or soemthing similar to produce more bubbles and then id have to skim wet on top of that. Not a big fan, however guess what i got in the other room right now thats going on my 24 till i order a new one..... yup you guessed it a pak
