Skinny Foxface

So no picture but suffice it to say this guys skinny. I can clearly see the bone (or whatever it is) running the length of the fish. He eats plenty but hasn't recovered weight. His colors amazing and he doesn't appear to be sickly aside from the weight.

When I say he eats plenty, I'm basing this off of my last foxface which only got fed once a day and never ever even approached looking like this.

Anyway, I read this could be internal parasites. I can't QT him and heard selcon mentioned. I wanted to run that approach past yall to see if theres a better option for handling this in the display.

Oh and on another note, anyone ever have a lionfish that eats algae pellets?

If you think it has worms, you can dose prazi in the display.

As for fattening it up, Mysis is really good for this. Feed it a couple times a day at least, and always leave nori on a clip/rock in the tank.

Lion eating pellets: I had a fuzzy dwarf that eventually ate flakes and pellets, but I've been told on this board that it's rare. I started by feeding guppies, then trained it to eat cocktail shrimp for a stick, then it eventually ate frozen with the rest of the tank.
