I would like to purchase some Nassarius snails. For any of you guys who collect them...How much for 100 delivered to my place???
 
Me too. I need some as well. I was just thinking of that today too. I can meet up, or if you deliver to Mike's house, I can pick them up there. Provided Mike doesnt mind me crashing in.

My buddy has bought snails from guys on ebay.

- 100 Live Nassarius Snails ~$28 + $22 s/h

We can combine shipping and get 200, 100 for you and 100 me. So then it will cost us about $40 each. They come next day air. I work from the house, so I could plan it to be home whenever we do it.

Just a thought. Let me know.

I didn't get any snails from you, just lots of great live sand!!!

Can you bring me 100 to the meeting??? How much???
 
greg, I can head down as well, I was thinking of trying some grass flats in the intercoastal channel right by my house(walking distance) Chris, maybe I can gather up a few to return the favor for the sand... Go figure, I got some great LS from Chris too. what nice reefers we have in this thread!!

i think the last time I was out I found a few marginella's as well, not sure if anyone would want them. Any good tips for scrubbing the dirty Nass.'s down? Or do you guys toss em back for a cleaner one?

I toss them in a 5 gal bucket with about an inch of sand and a few gal of tank water let them cruse around for a day or so and they come out clean.

FYI at the S skyway its illeagle to collect that many snails i believe since its manatee county.

i go to weedon island sandbar there was a ton out there last time
i just have to launch the kayak.

That would take quite a few trips to get that many with the legal bag limit.
 
Have you tried Dunedin Causeway?
I used to go collect them out there.....tons of em on the south side of the long road out to the park.
 
Greg or whoever- I need some regardless of who goes. I would like 100, but realistically I really only need somewhere around 50. 100 would be awesome bu not needed. Let me know. If not I can setup a group buy for whoever wants to make an online purchase.

Their ok when small but they get larger than Bluelegs and are more aggressive towards snails when they need a new shell
 
alright let me see what i an do tomorrow for yall and ill get back to ya and let ya know how many i collected i have plenty so what ever i get whom ever can have .

so pm me some phone #'s since i wont be back online till thursday .

about the white leg hermits last time i went out i only got about a dozen or so but that was about a month ago there were more nassarious and smooth shelled cowrie looking snails which i like better than nassarious they do the same thing but look cooler =)
