SLASH birthday question

We've had exactly 2 suggestions for what we should do for our 1st. anniversary. We'd like to do something different but good.

We've been thinking about it and came up with something that we need your opinions on.

We're thinking about having a LFS poker run and another chili/hot wing cookoff.

The way it would work would be that we would give all members 1 week to visit various LFSs in the area and pick up a playing card. At the end of that week we would meet at the cookoff and find out who has the best hand. Of course, the winning hand will receive a prize. In case of a tie, both winning hands will receive a prize.

There would also be a prize for the best chili and wings.

Tell us what you think and if you would participate in something like this.

we would also have to use a special deck so that no one cheats.... mabe find one of those rare ones with naked ladies on the back

If you all tie then the prize level drops a bit. How does a Tootsie Roll sound?

Poker Run, Heck ya! I liked the sound of it when Capo brought it up. Give you a week so if you decide to buy something "alive" in the shop. You don't have to keep it on ya till the end event.

Maybe after the Poker Run hand we can play some real poker while eaten some chili and wings. :thumbsup:

Another really good Idea! Hey I'm up for a poker game! I vote to do this. I can make it to all the stores in a week, Or just go the last day to everyone of them

I really don't have time.

Tuesday and Thursday I'm not home from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm. I have class on Monday and Wednesday as well. Then I work until 6:00 on Fridays. I have time Saturday and Sunday, but I'm not spending my 2 free days driving around town when I should be studying.

I may be able to get 4 cards max if I plan my route right.
