SLASH Coral Growing Contest: Raspberry Ice Acropora

One of these days my system will be in shape to take part in a coral crowing contest. lolz

I am hoping that everyone that volunteered for the contest has a stable system with either two part dosing, Kalk, or calcium reactor. If you dont have any sps and have signed up it may be beneficial to read up on what SPS corals require. granted one small frag probably wont eat it all up but still ... it is a contest. LOL

This is exactly why I wanted to be a part of this contest. With an almost all LPS/softies tank, I like the challenge of a new animal to care for. I've got a pavona that grows like crazy and I'm hoping if I put this new frag in a similar spot I'll have good results.

I wasn't expecting a frag, so it was a nice surprise. The total is about the size of a dime and one side looks to be STN'ing, so we shall see. Thanks Nick for the chance to conquer the Titans here in SLASH!

Well, I'm off to a rocky start. Due to past experiences I remount everything new. I'm not sure what kind of glue you used Nick, but that stuff didnt want to pop off the plug. Cracked mine in two trying to get it off the plug.

Oh wow! Well the glue I used is ecotech coral glue. But regardless... Hopefully those frags live! Once established they will grow fast as hell... And non of the frags I have made from that coral died. So hopefully nook and smooth are good! Lol

If they die, let me know I can make some exceptions
