SLASH Coral Growing Contest: Raspberry Ice Acropora

I treated my system last year for flatworms. Let's just say I had no idea how many I really had until I treated and it looked like a freaken blizzard in my tank!

I have flatworms in my tank. I've received advice that ranges from leave them alone to irradicate them immediately to just shut it down and start over.

Frog - what did you treat with? Did it do any damage to anything in the tank? I've got a great pod population going and I don't want to damage it.

Oh, and since this is actually the growing contest page, I'm out. Mine never recovered from the bleaching.

Acro-eating flatworms and the red planaria flatworms we commonly see in our tanks are two wholly different animals as is the treatment of each.

I used flatworm exit. I saw just a few on some mushrooms. This was during my red planet demise. I was lost and willing to try anything to figure out why all of a sudden what was a weed is now spiraling out of control. Once I dosed the exit within minutes thousands of flatworms came out of every pore. Needless to say I was in awe... never know for sure if it was just flatworms.

I lost nothing else from the dosing that wasn't already about to go. Clams shrimp fish and coral all made it. oh and then ran out and bought 6 various reef wrasses to help control in the future

Still spreading and building.

Mine is alive that's about it. I had some die off but things are coming back around. I'll snap a picture tomorrow.

I thought mine was gone but then this happened:

Here is my update. I moved it lower in the tank yesterday and glued it down. Hopefully he will like his new home.
