Can someone explain how to get these pics to show up?
Can you see them if you cut and paste?

I was at the science center today, and was sickened by their tang, and foxface. I tried asking some questions, but all I got was, "We have nothing to do with the fish". Sad

This is at the science center?

Yes, It is in the kids learning room at the Science Center. From the sounds of it. I'm pretty sure someone comes in to take care of it. I just think it is horrible when you see a 125 gallon sw tank running with 2 emperor 400 filters, and the water level 4 inches low. If no one is going to take the time to top off the tank, or put some nori in for the tang, and foxface. Then get rid of it. JMO

They may have a company to come and care for the tank, but I doubt that the company comes everyday to feed the fish. Sounds to me like there is neglect on the Science center's side.

I couldn't find any answers the last time I was there as well... There was a sheet over the tank like they took it down months ago. Must be for when its really bad. When I asked who took care of the tank, they said they were not around right now to answer questions.

That tang has been like that for a few years

We or someone needs to go in there with a couple of 5 gallon buckets and be wearing a SLASH tshirt or a LFS shirt on and claim that we work for the company responsible for the tank and go to work on that thing. Maybe an ASPCA shirt or something. Thats just ridiculous!

Thats what I'm talking about! If we don't do anything nobody else will. It's our responsibility to do the right thing in our city when it comes to this hobby.

name when and where to meet i'm sure alot of us would go if for nothing else to let them know its not unnoticed also i think we should flood the mailbox with e mails. Let me know what you guys think.

If someone were to tell the Post Dispatch the Science Center was neglecting animals I'm sure something would get done. Probably within the same day as the article coming out, or maybe sooner if someone from the paper calls wantingto ask some questions...

Man I haven't looked at this thread in one day and you guys have the pitchforks in hand and your lighting the torches. Good to see people who care though, I'm good to go as long as we don't have to chain ourselves to a post or anything. I'm sure if someone contacts the paper or the news they will do something when questions are asked.
