Slave Flash

I have a 'new to me' Canon Rebel XT and I need a slave flash for photographing my corals and fish. I'm looking for something CHEAP and sufficient. Any ideas on what slave flash with fit the bill?

I use a MR-14EX ring light (when I use a macro flash) and use my 420EX as a slave.

Thanks beerguy. I'm just getting started with the whole photography thing and I'm pretty broke. I figure if my interest holds then I will move on to bigger and better. I appreciate the recommendations.

Do you already have an external flash and are trying to add another slave one or are you working with the built in flash as master flash and adding a slave to that? Unfortunately the built in flash will give you reflections most of the time and is too direct soa slave added to it won't help as much as a slave added to an external flash on or off yor camera.
Any slave flash with slave trigger will work. if you can get one that you can set the intensity of then great. if not it'll take a little trying to set your oncamera flash as master and have the ratios not give you to much shadows.
