Sleeper Goby

Coral Hoarder
No problems with this big guy. He is huge, fat, and healthy and very social. Very surprising because most times they are shy. Anyways, I have a question about the behaviors of these fish.

They are notorious for burying anything on the sandbed. VERY VERY TRUE.

But I recently made myself a small frag tray with LR that I smashed into small pieces so mushrooms and other frags can grow on. I came home one day this weekend and all my small pieces of rocks are GONE. They ended up decorating the exterior of his cave under my LR. I have not seen him pick up any of the rocks because I am either sleeping or at work when he does this. He just stares at me and waits for food if I am present. But it has to be him because a wrasse (yellow corisse) cant do this or my maroone clown (both the oldest fish in my tank and never had this indicent) until I added the goby. The crazy thing is that it is so organized and well coordinated, they are stacked bordering his home/cave! It looks like a canopy.

I called him Bob before this started happening. Now he is called Bob the Builder :lmao:
