Been a while so I figured I would update. I have been collecting acros for a few months And added a bunch including orange passion, Walt Disney, pink floyd, pink caddi... I've been battling cyanobacteria but it's weird because all my fish pick at it like its algae. I wonder if it is spirulina

A few updates. I going to turn one of the 2 reactors into a DIY cheato reactor. I bought a few more sps corals and traded for a red lobo. Still fighting a bit of what I believe is red spirulina on the sand.

So my apex classic died. Most of the system can run independent of the Apex but I had to reprogram the Radions back using ecosmart live which required me to get off my *** and extend the usb port out to the geisemann shell like I should have done when I did the retrofit. Job done. reprogramming done. Manual top off is not terrible. Not having instant access to measurements is tolerable. The WAV pumps already have Tunze 6105s paired. I learned that lesson when the power supply died so flow is still at 50% and sps are not showing any stress.
I contacted Neptune and they offered a loyalty discount to upgrade so I went ahead and got the new system. Wife is not pleased but tolerates my obsession. I am going to see if the classic can be repaired and then sell it otherwise I will sell the Eb8 probes and display on their own.

DIY cheato reactor works fine. I pruned 50% and put it back online. The Vivid Confetti acro turned.brown initially but is now coloring back up with some pinks coming back. There are about 6 aptasia and plenty of vermatid snails so berghia nudibranc and bumblebee snails are on the list.
