Slow color change

thanks. I wonder why it changed color so slowly... The first day I got it, it was brown with a tint of green under UV. Then it quickly turned to green (first pic) after I glued it to the rock. Then ... very slowly ... it turned purple.

It was so slow that I didn't even notice it until I started looking at older pictures. I was trying to remember when I got a purple coral...

I had a red planet that went from green to red a few times before settling on red, it's pretty normal. Beautiful coral btw

Yes. It looks like a skinny kid turned bodybuilder... It's hardy as heck.

I found the original frag discarded in an invertebrate tank's sandy bottom at a LFS. Poor lighting and flow. And its polyps were FULLY extended. I was like 'WOW'. This thing can handle anything, and it nearly has.

I'm not sure what it is. I'm assuming it's a finger porites.

I think that's a purple pylop stylo. When I saw the first shot I thought "That thing should have purple pylops" Glad to see you got them back!

I think your tank is doing great to recover the color in these corals.

These frags were mounted differently so have a different color but they're from the same parent.
