Hi All,
Ive got a bit of a puzzle, I have a small LPS tank that on the whole (coral agression aside) is doing pretty well. My Acans and blastos on the whole are doing really well and my clams seem to be doing well and growing.
Certain corals however fail to thrive I did have a number of chalices which faded away, and a couple of prizm type favias and more recently a symphillia which just gradually peel away from their skeleton.
This has been happening for over a year and the deaths take several months. obviously over that year there have been fluctuations in parameters, 2 seoarate lighting systems and many other changes. Its not a huge problem as the corals I have thrive but any new additions seem to be a coin toss as to whether they thrive or die.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Im happy to give current params but as mentioned there has been some fluctuation over the 18 months.
