SLS Blue Wave 4 review?

Anyone use this electronic ballast? Is it good? I really like the fan and timer action.

Does anyone have any experience with this ballast? How does it compare to IC?

I run 3 of them and really like them. It's an Icecap ballast inside.

Most electronic ballast parts are all the samel.

I use 3 of them as well, without the timer. I love them. They don't create hardly any excessive heat in the stand.

Correct, the ballast in the Blue Wave is an Icecap!

Is the cord long enough to sit the ballast on the floor vice putting it in the canopy?

They have LONG cords.

boy, that is so untrue. a quality ballast is only as good as its electronic componets. cheap ballast = subpar componets = inferior output = reduced longevity. not a user opinion, just a fact.
