small farm

I've been running since 9/6/07. Water is flowing and fish have been added along with Bio-Spira. Skimmer is still not plugged in but I'm sure that will happen by the end of the week. If water parameters looks good and cycling seems to have accelerated then I should have my first anemone soon. Here are a few pics, since the last pics, the UPS has been installed, all plumbing has been installed and eggcrate has been put into one of the tanks.

I'm kind of a neat freak so while I know things will change (algae will set in, salt creep and rust will show its ugly head, etc) I will do my best to keep things neat and tidy. I've had an open top aquarium in the middle of the living room on wood floors and near furniture for 3+ years and have had great success at keeping things "clean".

Today I got 1 anemone, some hermits and snails, copods, amphipods and other pods. I started with dead rock for various reasons (algae control, cost, etc.) so it had to be seeded with bacteria (bio-spira) and various pods. The RBTA is a little stressed from the trip but I got a pic from the vendor prior to getting it and it has lots of potential (check out the last pic, taken under 400W 14K MH @ vendor)
