Small interesting fish

I love the royal gramma basslet, starry blenny, and midas blenny. Flasher and fairy wrasses add nice color and flare to a tank. Also like the yellow coris wrasse for his looks and for pest control.

I really really miss my Flabelligobius, I had him for around 18 months and he disapeared. They are a great fish but apparently they are not being collected anymore. I have tried several sources to see if I can get them and have come up short.

Love my barnacle blennies, are small with great personalities.

I know LiveAquaria sold them in the past. Have you contacted Kevin to see if he can get you one?

I don't have the fish(es) yet, but I'm setting up my 50 as a biotope/species tank for either one or a pair of captive-bred orchid dottybacks (pending the likelihood of compatibility issues). I had one briefly before and found her very entertaining to watch, although a bit cryptic. But that's part of the fun--watching to see where they pop up next. :)

load of trimma / eviota type gobies.

I have a close to 30 gobies in my 150G 4'x3'x20". See them all at feeding time.

My mated pair of swissguard basslets are super cool in my 65, IMO in a bigger tank they might be overlooked a little unless you know what they are lol.

+1 on the swissguard. I don't see them much anymore. I was really considering one but I think i am going to wait till i have a more mature, stable system. They are strikingly beautiful.

Flaming Prawn Goby. It only gets to be a couple of inches and is very secretive but when you get a chance to see him-WOW. I have one in a 34 gal Solana. A smaller tank would be better in order to see him more often.

I'm still looking for a blue stripe pipe fish....here's some small fish I've decided to keep. The neon is with the big fish in the DT; he's too bold for the others in the 30.

I think Tube Blennies are great for Nano Tanks. A few options below:

Pike Blenny (Caribbean YellowFace are better for Nano's as they are a little smaller, OrangeThroat "Like in my avatar" from the Sea of Cortez work also, but get a little bigger).

Caribbean Sailfin Blenny - Males are dark black and will display with there large Dorsal fins, only get 2inches or so.

Currently have a Sailfin and YellowFace in my 15 gallon nano, and then have a larger Yellowface in my 150 gallon reef.

I have a Geometric hawkfish thats about 1/2" long. And the good thing he's reefsafe.
I also have a yellow banded possum wrasse

some of my favorite small fish that i have in my standard 29g... geometric pygmy hawk, swales basslet , colletti basslet, elongated pseudochromis.
