Small Moray possible dwarf?

Hello I was hoping the forum could help me ID this moray:

Those are the best pictures I could get of it. I am not an eel expert but to me he looks like a gymnothorax species. Could he be an Indian moray they sell as a "fresh water moray" sometimes? Someone brought it in caught out of his sump. Dude has no idea how it got into his tank. This bewilders me, because having it hitch hike into his tank alive and then survive would be amazing.

Ok after a decent amount of research I think its more than likely a Richardson's dwarf moray (Gymnothorax richardsonii). This would make his sump life less amazing as I have come to understand they scavenge for most of their food and only need rare supplemental feeding compared to other morays of similar size in a good sized system (which as I understand he does come from).

If it isn't a rishrdson's/Reticulated Moray then im not sure what it is.

I'd try posting this on the fish only section as a guy I know has a richardsons moray come in on some rock he got from the lfs (it had escaped from the tank above and he bought the Rock when they closed the system down, it was kept under water as well) but it looks nothing like the one you have, and someone in that sectioned Id'd it straight away.

Thank you for the suggestion starkii. I am hoping he is a dwarf as some reefs keepers have dwarfs in their reef tanks. Figured if I got a few quick replies in this thread I would feel more confident about being able to care for it.
