Small white "ball" on dorsal

It started as a spot that almost looked eroded, I have a coral beauty that upon arriving from the movies, has a small white bubble looking thing on the back area of the dorsal, no where else. I've had her about 2 weeks, no abnormal behavior or scratching. The erosion area (the size of a pencil tip) started 2 days ago. Please dont tell me this is ich...

google lymphocystis. i have had a kole tang in qt for several weeks. at one point, about 3 weeks or so in, i noticed 3 tiny dots that i thought were ich. they all disappeared except for one on his tail fin. he is still in qt and the spot it still there. several folks here suggested it's lympho and i'm thinking they are right. no more spots have appeared and he isn't flashing nor being reclusive so i'm pretty sure it isn't ich. also, i just finished TTM with him.

i have started soaking his food in selcon or vitachem. lympho is a virus that needs to run its course but pristine water conditions and vitamin enriched food can help heal.

good luck with him!

edit: chris beat me to it!

Haha yea I took her in a little terrarium :p

I looked into lymphocyctis and that's quite a possibility. I got up this morning and the ball was gone. I'll probably wind up QT'ing her but the only bad thing is I got my QT last week and its just sitting in my storage room -_- I'll get to it when I can. Thanks guys
