Small white snail, thin white shell ID?!

Hey guys,

I was hoping you could help us.

We saw this little critter zooming across the rocks this afternoon, it looks like a tiny snail but the shell is almost like a clam shell? It has a white worm like stretching out to move across the rock like a snail, but I can't find any positive ID's.

I did think that but the shell is really thin and tall, like a disc shape with a break in the top like a clam shell would. Would a baby stomatella snail look that?

We have a conch snail, would it maybe be a baby one of them? Is that possible?

I'm thinking stomatella as well. Need some more pictures. No, not a conch. I think the position of it is confusing so it appears to be standing up, I think its actually pointing down like it is going to climb down that rock

Yes it did go down the rock after this picture, it's wormy bit came out of the bottom right. I'll have to try and get some more pictures. Crazy that these things can just appear, we've had the tank for months. Only other snails we have had are turbos

I've seen these, too, very like a bubble. If it heads for corals, get it into the sump, but otherwise, just enjoy the variety.
