Smaller Anemones

What size "nano" ? The smallest hosting anemone is an H. Malu, and even with that I wouldn't go smaller then a 30 gallon or so.

I have several I am playing with

Guess I will just do a couple with the minis in it. Thse come in some really great colors as well

Todd,

You don't want to read my sig then!

cfsindorf - Absolutely, Positively I would NOT place an anemone in a 'nano' less than 20-40gal until your 'experienced' with the visible triggers of anemone keeping. I have been successful with my nano, but it isn't smooth sailing always and the visible indicators when the BTA is pi$$ed are minor physicl changes. I spend as much time (if not more) maintaining my nano, as I spend on my multi-tiered system.

Moral of the SW story is more gallons gives you a larger margin of newbie error.

Don't forget that E. Quads can/will get 15+ inches across, which will be way too large for any nano tank.
