Looks like question of tank has been ironed out as well. Just have to DIY an overflow box, canopy and shell for the metal stand. I may have this tear down / downsize done even faster than I had initially hoped. Thanks all. :thumbsup:

Sad to see your 125 go, it's a great collection of interesting livestock! I'm sure your small tank will be nice, too. There's definitely something really tempting about cubes in that size range. That's pretty close to what I had planned back two years or so when we thought we were going to be staying in Jersey.

Thanks Dwzm I'm just at a point in life where being realistic sets me up for many more peaceful days than if I were to keep fooling myself that I could keep up with the 125g. Once other things get ironed out, I may be able to enjoy a larger tank again at some point down the road.

Plan has been slightly tweaked to a 40g breeder tank. :thumbsup:
