You will also get the benefit of more water and a place to put things like chemi-pure elite. I would add a small tee or y to the return so to blow it in both directions or just add a second canister for more filtration and to make it blow in the other direction.
Well i finally made up my mind and got two hydor pico evo 200 mini pumps. They are 70 gph each for a total of 140 gph which i think should be sufficient because i do not plan on keeping sps. They arrived today and i installed them in my tank. Overall I am very happy with their compact size but their mounting system is ridiculous. I cannot describe it so i will post pics later.
