Smallest tank for two pairs?

Master Blaster!
I wanted to get some input on the possibility of two pairs of clowns in a 120.

I have been staring down the beautiful platinums.

My tanks layout.

If you could get each pair to host a nem on opposite sides of the tank it might work. That assumes that the nems stay put and the clowns don't wander. Even then the clowns are still unpredictable. I would try it but have a QT tank to pull a pair out in case.

I had 2 pairs in my 190 and they were fine. Its only a 5 ft tank. My black pair stopped laying eggs though so I took the percs out.

I have 2 pairs in a 210. Percs and tomatoes. No problems, yet. Yet. Each in an anemone of thier own, 1/3 in from each end. I tried 2 pairs, once, true and false percs once. Lasted maybe 5 minutes. It was like putting 2 male beta's together.

3 gallon bucket with a big giant broken pirateship that you buy for a freshwater tanks. How many threads does it take to get through to all of you that two pairs in a tank is a long term bad idea?

This picture was taken in Atlantis this July. Tank couldn't of been bigger than 100 gallon. Had tomato , percula, maroon, black clowns.

40 fish is a lot different than 4. The aggression is much more evenly distributed. I have quite a few tanks with 100 plus clowns but none with only 4. That being said, it is possible but not recommended

Agreed as do I. And unless I break up the troublemakers or remove the weak ones, the odd time you find a dead one. If I have under 100 clowns in a tank the aggression is much worse.

Rkelman, I was shock to see this many different clown fish in this tank. I agree every time I go back to bahama's in Atlantics. I do see less fish in there tanks. Clown fish tank was New to me so next year I check again.
