smokin' snail

sorry i dont have a pic, but today i saw a snail who had pearched on the highest rock and just sat there with what looked like smoke pluming from his phlu..something(the thing that sticks out<little too much to drink tonight!>) this went on for about 30 minutes. does any one know what this might be???

i since found out that the snail was launching sperm into the tank, which would account for the "O" face while he was doing it
