get your mind out of the gutter! it's harvest time (well at least the first harvest)...woke up early to pick some peppers and smoke them before I dehydrate and grind them...here's some pics

That looks familiar :spin3: This is what we picked yesterday and a bucket of tomatoes.

We usually dehydrate and grind them up. Also saving a few for chili later this week.

I have a smoker maybe I'll give that a try. Do you notice a big differance in the flavor when you smoke them?

i really like the smokey flavor and is noticeable when put on foods....great in soups pizza spaghetti...i defiantly think it is worth the extra time and effort!
