Here are the most common FAQ's of the SMS unit
Q: My ProfiLux control software does not show SMS?
A: Make sure you are using V4.05 profiLux control and V4.05 Firmware. On controller set COM1 to Router. Found under Extras - communication - COM1. This is done ON the ProfiLux NOT the software. Also in the connection set up in profiLux control, select SMS then save.
Q: What SIM card do i need?
A: In USA - Any GSM SIM, in CANADA only Rogers SIM as telus is NOT GSM.
Q: Where do i get the PIN and service center number?
A: The PIN is selected by you at time of SIM purchase. The service center number is obtainable by contacting the SIM provider customer services.
