snail bloom---ceriths or what?

I know I had a cerith lay eggs about 3 weeks ago. I don't have fish that particularly target snail eggs, but the string of eggs disappeared 2-3 days later. I dismissed it.

Now I'm seeing round baby snails in huge numbers on the lower to mid glass only after dark---did see one by daylight, and there are antennae, white, round body, no color detectible, way up on the glass. Foot does not extend beyond the round shell. My eyesight and my camera do not work that small. I know it's not the strombus grazers: I know what they look like---they breed, too.

Snails in the tank whose young I don't know by experience: cerith, margaritas, astraea, mexican turbos, turbos, stomatellas, nassarius.

Anybody have a notion what we're dealing with? There must be a hundred of them, and if they aren't the ceriths, they must have laid eggs in the rockwork.

factor in really long antennae [matched in length and equidistant from the body axis] and fair speed.

I'm sort of leaning toward stomatella, if perhaps the body length will increase. I did see a stomatella 'puffing' about 2 months ago, but I'd have expected snail-lets sooner from that incident.

That would be neat. I have way enough nassarius, but stomatellas came in as hitchhikers, and they seem to be pretty good cleaners.

I've got a bunch of stomatells too, I'd guess around a dozen, I didnt buy 1 of them and they just keep popping up.... they get into every crack and crevice, seem to do better jobs then the ones I bought (asteria's etc..)
