Snail Id please...

kinda funny i just saw someelse post a snail id with what looks like the same blue plate...but thier pictures are much better then mine...

this thing has a spiral shell, with the opening on the side..

the little black specs actually seem like they are little spikes/ thornlike on the shell...

he is white with black spots...the shell is approximately 6mm long and the little fellow himself seems to have a yellow edge...

Those pictures really dont help for an accurate id. You will need to get crisp sots of the operculum ( shell opening ) with the animal retracted, a good top down shot of the shell, and one of the animal cruising extended from its shell.

that is gonna be a tough pic to take..this thing is tiny and the macro on my 4.0 meg canon sucks...plus i threw it back in the tank..i will have to wait for him to turn up again...
