Snail ID pls

I'm thinking that this guy with the collonista (also in pic for reference to size) is a certh snail but I'm not sure. The shell is jagged like a conch and not smooth like a whelk. Am I close or is the snail headed for the freezer?

I'm betting cerith---there are several varieties. It doesn't have the inward taper of a whelk. Check out saltcorner.com in its inverts section. It has some similar, but not quite exact, under 'cerith'.
